What "no purchase necessary" means at a sweepstakes casino
What the phrase "no purchase necessary" means at a sweepstakes casino, and what it does not guarantee.
Facts as of 2026-10-21. Source: ClaimChef Menu (data/menu.json). Unknown values say so; nothing is estimated.
The meaning
Sweepstakes rules require a free way to enter. A site that sells coins must also offer entries without a purchase. The usual free routes are daily bonuses, signup freebies and a mail-in request (AMOE).
What it does not mean
It does not mean unlimited free coins, a fixed amount, or an easy redemption. Free entries carry the site's playthrough and caps, and amounts change.
Reading the rules
Each operator publishes official sweepstakes rules. They name the free routes, the state exclusions, the age rule and the redemption terms. Prefer those over third-party summaries, including ours.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Is it really free to play?
Free entry routes exist on legitimate sites. Buying coins is optional; ClaimChef does not buy or recommend buying.
What is the free mail-in route?
See our AMOE guide. The format is set by each site's rules and a wrong format can void the request.
