ClaimChef is operated by ClaimChef, a US-based company. This page says what we collect, what we do not, and why. SC means sweeps credit, not dollars.
The free tracker lives in your browser
Your list, your last-claimed times and your settings are stored in your own browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to sign in.
Optional tracker account (coming soon)
The server streak log is not live yet. When it opens and you sign in, the ClaimChef gateway will store:
- your email address;
- a tracker token that identifies your tracker;
- the daily-claim entries you or the extension log: casino slug, date, claimed or missed, SC amount and source;
- optional SC balances you choose to record.
Sign-up
If you sign up at /join, we store your email, an optional referral code you arrived with, and the referral code and tracker token we issue you. Joining does not charge you or commit you to anything.
What we never collect
We never collect casino passwords, cookies, session tokens, payment cards or ID documents. No payment is collected anywhere on this site.
The browser extension
What it reads. On the supported sweepstakes-casino sites listed in the extension's permissions (Stake.us, Chumba Casino, Fortune Wins, Pulsz, Zula Casino, Sidepot, YayCasino, SpinBlitz, Coinz.us, Modo), the extension reads the daily-bonus countdown and the balance that the page already shows on screen. It does not read any other website. It does not read your password, cookies, session tokens, payment details or ID documents, and it does not type, click, log in or submit anything on a casino page. It tracks and reminds; it never claims for you.
Where the data stays. Readings (balance, countdown, last-claimed time) and your reminder setting are saved in chrome.storage.local, inside your own browser on your own device. The extension does not send this data to ClaimChef or to any other server, and it has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code.
What it sends. The only thing the extension sends anywhere is a message (window.postMessage) to the ClaimChef tracker page at claimchef.com that is open in your own browser, so the page can show "Extension connected" and display your countdowns. That message stays between the extension and the page in your browser tab.
Notifications. If the optional desktop reminder is on (it is on by default and can be switched off in the extension's side panel), the extension shows a local notification when a daily bonus becomes ready. Notifications are generated on your device.
No remote code. All of the extension's code ships inside the package. It does not download or run code from the internet.
Limited Use. We process extension data only to provide the tracker you see. We do not use it for analytics, advertising or credit decisions, and we do not sell or transfer it to anyone. The extension's use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deleting it. Uninstall the extension, or clear its data under chrome://extensions, and everything it stored is removed. We hold none of it.
Future changes. If a later version ever sends data to a ClaimChef server, this section will be updated first.
Trackers, analytics and fonts
This site ships no ad trackers and no analytics scripts. Fonts are bundled with the site, not loaded from a third party.
Selling data
We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
You can ask us to delete your tracker account from the support page. We will delete tracker data on request. We have not set an automatic deletion period.
The email you give us at /join is kept until you ask us to delete it. To have it deleted, email privacy@claimchef.com or use the support page.
The browser extension's data (your list, last-claimed times and settings) lives only in chrome.storage.local on your own device. We do not hold it, so there is nothing for us to delete; uninstalling the extension removes it.
Children
ClaimChef is for people 21 and older only. Do not use it if you are under 21.
