SC vs GC (and CC, FC, PE)
Two currencies, two completely different jobs. One is money-shaped; one is not.
GC — the play coin
Gold Coins (and site-branded cousins: Crown Coins CC, Fortune Coins FC, Funrize PE) are the entertainment currency. You buy them, spin them, win more of them — and they can never be redeemed for anything. Some sites let SC play convert winnings back and forth; the play coin itself stays play-only forever.
SC — the redeemable coin
Sweeps Coins are sweepstakes entries that can be redeemed for cash prizes after meeting playthrough and the site minimum (typically $25–100 SC). You generally receive SC free with purchases and via free daily bonuses, drop codes, mail-in entries, and social giveaways.
Why we obsess over SC
Every number on The Menu is SC-denominated. 1 SC ≈ $1 redeemable. A $10 pack yielding 30 SC is $0.33/SC — that ratio, not the GC fireworks, is what tells you whether a pack is worth it. Unit conversions bite: Fortune Coins FC converts ~100 FC = 1 SC-equivalent, and a stale book value once claimed 10 SC/day where the truth was ~1. We fixed the unit and show our dates.
