ClaimChef vs Bonus Buddy

A factual comparison. Where Bonus Buddy describes itself, we quote or paraphrase its public page and say which. Where we do not know, the table says so.

Facts as of 2026-10-21. Competitor facts: Bonus Buddy's public pages, read 2026-10-21 (sources below). ClaimChef facts: its own Menu and docs. Unknown values say so.

Short answer. Bonus Buddy is a chrome extension that auto-collects daily bonuses, plus a promo-code and review site. ClaimChef is a free tracker and Chrome extension that never claims for you and never takes casino passwords. Prices and features for both are in the table.

Field	Bonus Buddy	ClaimChef
Price	Free tier. Paid plan: 7-day free trial, then $19.99 monthly, with a 30-day money-back guarantee (its page).	Free. Nothing is charged anywhere on the site today. A paid auto-claimer is staged, not on sale (no price, no checkout, no date).
Free tier	Educational guides, a sweeps dashboard and the free daily bonus list.	The full casino list (101 casinos), a live countdown per casino, last-claimed time and a CLAIM link to each casino's own bonus page, with no account needed.
Sites covered	Not stated as a number on its homepage; its daily bonus list tags each casino "Verified".	101 casinos on The Menu (15 active). The extension has page rules for 15 of them; 0 of those are marked verified so far.
Automatic collection	Yes, on the paid plan: the extension collects daily bonuses in the background and notifies you.	None. The free tracker tracks and reminds; it never claims for you. A paid auto-claimer is staged, not on sale.
How you install it	Chrome extension. We did not verify a Chrome store listing.	Manual "Load unpacked" sideload on desktop Chrome 120+. No Chrome Web Store listing and no auto-update today.
Casino logins	Its FAQ says the extension "connects to your existing accounts" after a one-time setup. Storage details are not stated on the pages we read.	Never collected. You log in yourself; the extension reads the casino page you already have open. No passwords, cookies or session tokens are collected (privacy page).
Earnings claim	"earn $250 per month on autopilot" and "daily free login bonuses worth over $350 each month" (homepage).	None published here. ClaimChef's own research range is on the methodology page, labelled an unmeasured estimate.
Disclosed revenue source	Subscriptions. Its site also carries promo-code and review pages; the pages we read do not say whether it earns referral fees from them.	None today. No commission from any casino; every affiliate link in the data is empty. If that changes, paid links will be labelled.

Not named on the pages we read. An auto-collector sold on a free tier plus a paid plan, with a large library of promo-code and review pages. It says it is in early beta.

Where Bonus Buddy is ahead

It collects bonuses for you today; ClaimChef's free tracker does not and its paid option is staged, not on sale.
A private Discord and round-the-clock support are listed as plan features.
A much larger library of promo-code, review and guide pages.

Where ClaimChef is ahead

Free for everything we do today, with no trial that rebills.
ClaimChef never asks to connect to your casino accounts.
No earnings promise: ClaimChef's own range is labelled an unmeasured research estimate and sits on the methodology page.
No promo-code revenue today, so a page cannot be shaped by a code.

What Bonus Buddy says it earns (its claims, not ours)

"Download our Chrome extension to automatically collect bonuses and earn $250 per month on autopilot." (source)
"Collect free daily bonuses worth over $350 each month." (source)
The founder wrote on Hacker News in January 2024: "I charge $20/mo and users make roughly $200/mo in bonuses." (source)

ClaimChef has not measured any of these figures and does not repeat them as fact. ClaimChef's own research range, labelled as an unmeasured estimate, is on the methodology page. Free bonuses are entertainment, not income.

Search demand we measured

Monthly US searches for the name, Google Ads data via DataForSEO, 2026-10-21. Search volume says how many people look for a name, not how good the product is.

"bonus buddy": 90 a month
"bonus buddy app": 20 a month
"bonusbuddy": 20 a month

The name is shared with unrelated apps, so these counts are not all for this product.

Bonus Buddy sells automatic collection. ClaimChef's free tracker only tracks and reminds, never touches your casino accounts, and publishes dated per-site facts. Which fits depends on whether you want a tool that collects on your behalf.
